As shown, ISE has demonstrated the feasibility of applying electric and hybrid-electric technology to several types of heavy-duty vehicles, including buses, trucks, tractors, trams, and even marine vessels. ISE's near term business focus is on the transit bus market, where the majority of heavy-duty hybrid systems are being purchased today. As illustrated in the below diagram, the modular design of ISE's ThunderVolt drive system enables the system's major components to be adapted to a number of different transit vehicle configurations.
