Job Description:

This extended CONTRACT, EE CAD Drafter role will actively participate in the detailed drafting & specs necessary to develop Cable and Harness documentation for our Heavy Duty Hybrid-Electric Drive Systems.

Candidate should be experienced in developing Schematic Diagrams.

Candidate will work with CAD Design Team to develop Physical Routings, Creating Cable Drawings and BOM Management.

Applicant must be a motivated and adaptive self-starter with excellent communication and project leadership skills.

A strong knowledge of the Automotive industry or Heavy Duty vehicles is a plus.

This successful applicant will gain extensive, hands-on experience in the design of cutting-edge Electric and Hybrid-Electric vehicle systems.

Mandatory Position Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience Designing Vehicle Wiring Harnesses
  • Schematic Capturing
  • Wiring Harness Layout, Packaging and Fastening in CAD Environment
  • Creation and management of Physical Manufacturing Prints

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience using E3 Cable
  • Experience using Pro-E
  • Experience designing wiring harnesses for Automotive or Heavy-Duty Vehicles
  • High Voltage Wiring/cable interconnects
